Bloodstock
Last weekend me, sleeperwaking, metalfeast666, Grover, Tanwen, Rich M, Emma, Amy, Jake and David G all went to Bloodstock. James, Flo, Rhys and a few others from Cardiff were also there but didn't camp with us. All in all it was a great little festival, awesome bands throughout and not a single disappointment.

My trip to Northern Ireland
So the weekend before last I flew over to Belfast to visit hetfields_beard for the weekend along with Tony, smowton and Dan from Cambridge. Flew out on the thursday evening and was treated to some very beautiful views of the sun setting through clouds from the tiny aeroplane window. There's something distinctly satisfying
about coming home to a nice warm cup of tea after a hard weekend's metalling. Bloodstock was a very, very good festival - shall have to do a full trip report soon. Also still need to do Northern Ireland as well ( Read more... ) -
Desecration are playing Cardiff on Monday
I'm fairly sure the last time I saw those guys was just before my 18th birthday. That means it's been over two years since my last dose of brutal Welsh death metal from the Bridgend boys. Wow.
I think I know what I'm doing when I get back from Bloodstock.
Also I should really do a proper journal post about Northern Ireland at some point. -
