ahh, right now i'm learning italian! i did three years of french, so i know a bit of that, and i recognize spanish since it's so similar! you know what i'd really like to learn though? german. it's so unique c":

Mmmmmmf, maybe I can take classes over the summer back home. Learning it from Spanish would be so much better. I think that's why I still remember French, cuz it's a lot like Spanish too &hearts Hurray Romance Languages~

Germannnn, oh yes, that would be awesome. I think German and Russian must be the hardest languages to learn. That and Arabic.

I need to learn Portuguese >> I'm trying to get my roommate's mom to let me stay at her place and work at their clinic so I can visit Brazil

Portuguese is so much like Spanish, it's ridiculous! Have you taken any latin-based languages?

I took latin for 2-3 years, but I wouldn't say I know a lot of it...

I dont know ANY spanish. ANY. It's embarrassing as hell.

But with latin, it's easier to understand, no? Romance Languages~ They're all connected to the same latin roots :3

Waaaah,so many languages!I could never deal with that many! Still, that thing with kids not learning a lot of languages when they're little is a common problem. When I was little, my parents basically forced me to learn both languages (In that my dad would pretend to not understand English, so I had to speak to him in Spanish)

My college doesn't offer Portuguese D: It makes me sad... I might cross-register or something...
