Since a majority of my friends on LJ are friends because of common interests, I thought I would give a quick update on some of my geeky stuff behind the cut.

rbradakis - Making more time available for ourselves seems to be a very common challenge.

The action figure sound life fun to do, even if finding the figure to start with poses the occasional problem. Do you have pictures of them?

Video Games- Not playing much these days besides the occassional XBox Live Arcade title like Carcassone or Puzzle Quest

I love Puzzle Quest (I've been a fan of the Warlords series for a long time, and even named a shadow in the SBverse Etheria. In fact, William might eventually wind up there...)

Wild Arms 3 is probably my favorite in that series. Nice mix of puzzles and dungeon action, and I loved the cel-stroked graphics and the music. I think I have the strat guide in case you get stuck (though it may have been "perma-loaned" to someone.) One quirky thing the game did is that it treats itself a bit like an anime series, complete with opening credits that change as the story progresses revealing new villains and allies, mimicking the way a tv show's opening may tweak as the season goes on. Also, it will randomly play the original Japanese vocal version after a certain point. It made starting up the game feel like I was tuning into the daily episode of a favorite cartoon.

My Amber game ended, so I am starting a new game for the same player group that is kind of a Harry Potter riff about yound sorceror-types in college. I will no doubt post more about it once it gets closer to starting.

Having Greg Rucka and James Robinson writing the New Krypton stuff is one of the more tempting things in recent superhero comics.

The new W40k game (Dawn of War 2) is out.

Yeah, I am sooo exciting about Ruck returning to Superman. His last run on Superman was fantastic and his run on Wonder Woman was my favorite comic runs of all time.

I don't play computer games, unfortunately. Mouse-clicking can be very painful for me. If they ever make a version of DoW for the XBox, I am there. There is a Space Marine FPS coming out for XBox and I plan to get it.
