[commentlog] in lieu of a white knight, have a pale teenager?powerofgodJuly 1 2010, 06:21:11 UTC
[By those few words, poorly articulated, Godric knows that something has happened. Something serious, to so reverse Marco's stance on the offer in question.
So it's by the scent of blood that he hunts. On the Earth of his origin, his sense of smell was somewhat more acute. The boat's limitations, imposed for no reason embodying validity, have put his abilities more in step with a newborn of his kind.
Still, it doesn't take long to locate the boy, and in that instant he is at Marco's side.
He lifts his wrist to his mouth, tears his own flesh. In addition to the limiting of his senses, there is no danger of it healing in the time it will take to accomplish the transfer.
The boy is injured, and badly. Up close, he can smell it. Hear the rattle of breath in his chest. He is dying.]
Drink.
[The word is uttered with no absence of command, and he puts his wrist to Marco's mouth.]

*Marco's on the floor where Ripa left him weakly typing at his comm when Godric arrives. He doesn't even notice he's not alone until Godric speaks, and gladly lets his hand fall limply to the ground when he does. He glances up towards Godric's voice, not fully able to focus. Still, he hesitates for a second or two
*Does he really want this? He'll just come back. But if he dies...his eyes would go black...and Anna...
*He's not exactly sure how to 'drink' of something like that, but thankfully human instinct can still kick in. He suckles at the wound, weakly*
[commentlog] no, but they can be SEVERELY INJURED.powerofgodJuly 1 2010, 06:46:00 UTC
[With the extent of the injuries, and with no idea of knowing how his blood has been affected by the ship, Godric kneels beside Marco and becomes utterly still. His eyes are closed.
Being fed on by a human is a role reversal that he in his long years has never become accustomed to. Blood is not something lightly given among the older vampires. The ones who know what it is to hunger. Who drank from the plague-riddled for survival's sake alone. The younger ones, who have never wanted for the glut of blood, are freer with their favour.
The extent of the boy's injuries do not bother him. If he is not dead now, he is not like to become so. Marco has stubbornness befitting a vampire.
But those injuries are precise. Calculated. Inflicted by someone who knew human weakness and who chose to exploit it. There were a handful of creatures on the boat capable of such things, he knew, though he had no care for assumptions at this point. Redd's punishment would make known the guilty.
One thing is certain. He will need to feed after this.]
