Anybody know where I can get a really big punch bowl?
*Marco pauses for a bit. It sounds like he's messing with bottles of something*
Jinx, do you really think its a good idea to let everyone know how much you hate Erol? Someone's bound to have an issue with it.

What are you planning?

Yikes. That's a rough one.
[Remy runs his hand through his hair.]
Promises are a basis for trust and you broke that. It doesn't matter your intent. It wasn't out of your control and you broke it. It's going to be hard to get it back.
[Remy took another drink]
Is it Anna?

*Part of the problem maybe that he hasn't fully decided if doing the hacking or telling her about it was worse. Part of him though actually telling her would help smooth it over. Hacking things like that was second nature to him, so not doing so was really strange and hard to stick to.*
Yeah, Anna.

That makes it harder. You're going to have to make it up to her somehow.

Also hacking the other half of the conversation didn't count.*
Yeah. But I have no idea how I'd do that.
*He laughs, though its not really humourous.*
Before I showed up here, I hadn't had a friend in over three years.

Well in my culture, you'd have her cut one of your fingers off. Somehow I don't think she'd go for that.
[He's laughing it off, but it's ttly true. His laughter subsides as Marco mentions friendship.]
Well, we're friends, right?
[Remy's not exactly sure.]
Reply
I count you as one of my few friends, yeah.
*Though he's not sure if Remy feels the same way.*

You too.

Still, he smiles.*
That's good to hear.
...Sorry to bother you with this.

Oh, no no no. None of that. No apologies. I'm here to help you. We're going to fix this, all right?
[He finishes off his glass.]
First thing's first. Flowers. Works on my world and by what I've seen in movies, holds true in most. Do you know her favorite?
Reply
Alright, if you say so.
*He considers for a moment, then shakes his head*
...I don't know, really. I don't think she really had flowers in her world, so...I guess all of them would be special. Uh...
*He rubs his head*
...I-I guess I don't know that much about what she likes. Or what her favorites are.

You make this difficult. You have anything? Favorite color or birth month and I should be able to figure something meaningful out.
Favorite food? We can get Zeke or Herz on that.

*Marco sighs, finishes off his drink and refills the glass, then takes a seat*
I don't know. I know she likes to watch the sky, and she was really happy when it rained. *He stares into his glass* She liked the island, because in her world everyone's stuck underground and she'd never seen anything like it before. She really likes music, and is really good at it. She likes to learn; she spends most of her time at the library.
But I don't know when she was born, or what she likes to eat, or her favorite colour or anything. I never thought to ask.

Dinner outside at night on the top deck. We'll set up a table and candles. I can convince Kate or Gids to do the music, easily.
You find her a book, I get the flowers together and food together and whatever you do, make sure you convince her it was entirely your idea, all right?

He shakes his head*
She told me to leave her alone. Maybe I should wait. I don't want to upset her any more.
