I am sharing this because it is fucking hilarious. Like there's any other reason?

Dude wants another dude to design logos and stuff for him. For free. You should be honored I even asked!

The reply is... beautiful. Just... beautiful.

it's from here. Don't be afraid to click. Only NSFW if a giant middle finger may get you into trouble ( Read more... )

ftw, lol

Dude. That guy wins.

"Actually, you were asking me to design a logotype which would have taken me a few hours and fifteen years experience. For free. "

UES.

I would like to say, besides the "100% No" pie chart and the "logo", the best is the very last the writer did: "Good luck, and let me know if you need anything"

XD

Aside from being wonderfully entertaining, I have to wonder exactly why is this Simon person continuing with the correspondence after the first pie chart, never mind the fabulous logo he got in the bargain. :)

well, after reading through some other bits of the site I'm pretty sure that this "Simon" guy does not exist and the entire thing is more or less an essay on "here's why freelancers go up the wall, clients like this."

But I don't care. PIE CHARTS. Mmmm!

You sure? I know people like that. Loads of them.

Suddenly have a need to watch episodes of Pushing Daisies. *drool*

hee hee... pie!

the reason I think it's a not-real Simon is because these are also adventures with him:

then again, I had a manager once who had MANDATORY pot luck lunches... to boost morale. Yeah.
