I managed to get Geant4 on my powerhouse home computer (Ubuntu Linux only, not on Windows 7). It was a little tricky. The newest builds wouldn't work. My guess is that I had some compiler incompatibility down the pipeline that wouldn't build the install. I installed and am running Ubuntu Linux on my main computer now. I am going to run Windows 7 on a separate hard drive side-by-side by doing some GRUB trickery.
