Thank you! It's nice to be the subject of envy for once... Kidding.
But you're the only one who didn't tell me to send back my wacom. They're saying it's too big and I should have bought an A5/A6. Is it really such a big deal that it's A4?

Well I think the thing about an A4 Wacom is that it takes up a lot of space and is pretty expensive compared to an A5...while not being really better in any way, just bigger.

Personally even the A5 one was a pretty big investion for me and if I ever had the money to splurge I'd probably get a Wacom Cintiq instead of just a bigger Intuos but what the heck...if you have the money and space on your desk for this model just go with it and enjoy it ^___^

Ah, now I'm curious... there are different models of Wacom, what makes Cintiq better than Intuos?
As someone who actually uses a Wacom you can give an informed answer. My friends just dabble on wacom. Their concern is that the size of the tablet relates to the size of the window, and the bigger the tablet the bigger strokes I'll have to make. They think a smaller size will be easier to draw on, and that I could just shift the window up or down when needed, like I do with a mouse. To me it sounds as if it just takes getting used to, is all.

Calibrate? Please explain, searching the help section came up with nill. How do I know which comp is showing me the correct colors, either way?

Yeah, I saw that feature. But there are no options to fine-tune it, just presets of yellow balance, blue balance, etc. What I'm wondering is what profile is truer, or closer to how everyone else sees on their screen. I haven't checked, but I think my Powerbook is tuned into Color LCD profile, which mutes the colors a bit. I was just shocked when I saw how much more yellow and green there is in all my item pictures looking on the iMac, when on my Powerbook they look great. I'm going to have to fine tune them in photoshop, and Ah, more work/:

I was lounging pool side in my new ghastly bathing suit (think metallic gold. Yeah, I know), getting sunburned and reading cheap novels. Then I got right back into work, both jobs. Sorry for being absent. Unfortunately, most definitely did not catch up with Season 5, so tell me nothing. The region 2 box set isn't released yet. How have you seen it? I have held myself back from clicking any lj cuts containing season 6 spoilers, I already know too much about season 5. Bring on the angst!
