How did you like the film? And have you read the book? I've got a spare copy here if you'd like it. And another question: :D how are you holding up after JA Weekend? Did Persuasion break you?

Persuasion wasn't on. Only Sense & Sensibility, Jane Austen Book Club, Pride & Prejudice (2005), Emma and Lost in Austen.I only saw Lost in Austen and the end of Sense & Sensibility (that's ok, I have it on DVD) with half an eye while working, but that was enough to make me want to buy all of her works and read them right now. I only have P&P, a great oversight. That's actually because I insist on buying only the same edition I have P&P in, so the going's slow. No need to ffer me your spare copy of the Book Club; I think it's a sweet movie and I really liked it, but I imagine it's only a guilty pleasure on tv and in book form it would just be...not so good. Yes, no?
