Yes, Ilxwing's Silmarillion and LotR artwork is lovely, isn't it? I've followed her work for quite some time now and I have to say that while I like her polished elf-portraits, I think she really excels in her pencil drawings. The one of Maedhros and Maglor with the twins is just stunning.

Yeah, I saw that one, too! I looked for other such artists but couldn't find any good ones through the search engines. Have any recs?

You mean LotR/Silmarillion artwork recs? Sure, I've got a bunch of them, though most of them aren't on DeviantArt ( ... )
