From what I remember (I've been a vegetarian for more than a decade now), no not really. The best way to describe it is how it bills itself on its package a 'vegetarian roast' and its closer in taste to roast beef (if memory serves) but really not but the somewhat in the neighborhood.
Though like Turkey it's for some reason really hard for people to cook - mine turned out very well when my mother tried to cook one for me a couple of years ago and another friend tried one it came out rather poor (but I made a few adjustments - despite what the box recommends it's better to cook it frozen than to thaw it and I spiced up the base with some variations using their two baste formulas as a guide).
