Meh. I think post Anglo is more fitting since English influenced culture/governments has been rather dominate since the 1800s and there was little in the way of breakage between the British and US dominated periods.

Except the US and British has less in common in both terms of structure and in terms of economic strategy than is commonly assumed.

We share a language, but few other assumptions or really even ethnic backgrounds.
