I went in with higher expectations, and was actually a little disappointed. I enjoyed the tremendous amounts of comedy and action it provided me, but did not think it matched the first. I actually thought many characters had changed and they just played off of humor from the first one (the rum stuff). That was funny, but I was just like "come on, make a new joke already."

But of course, I really liked it because...it was the Pirates of the Caribbean...and it was the flipping midnight showing : )

i think jack sparrow comes off as a lot more heroic cuz he's johnny depp and he can act
and poor will turner gets pissed on because orlando bloom is not much other than a pretty face

yeah, he's inconsistent, but I still like him more.

and orlando bloom does basically get pissed on. Johnny Depp is Johnny Depp...he's amazing...he's a legend. Plus, his character is very strange and much more interesting (in my opinion) and seems to take more skill to act. I still think Orlando acts well, though. I think everyone acts well for their parts.

Trust me, I'm a girl. I've always liked Jack Sparrow more than Will even before I started liking Johnny Depp...I still hadn't gotten over Orlando from LOTR, but liked Jack more. It's the way of the world.
