Went to Tokyo for the long weekend to visit family, which was exhausting but good- makes me feel bad that we don't live closer. Still have loads of errands to run, but wanted to blurb a bit about TV now that I am not stuck on my phone! First of all:

Agents of SHIELD- 1x06 made me cry. OK SHOW, I NOW OFFICIALLY REALLY LIKE YOU.

I found another lit reference for your blog! It's actually on Agents of SHIELD (which is in the same time slot as TO, so I'm not surprised you haven't seen it!) I haven't been able to find a cap or GIF for it, but the scene is from 1x02 and it starts with Skye walking in on Agent Ward reading.

Also trying to track down some Castle/Nikki Heat novel references for you, since even the page number and dedication references are accurate and this is like a scavenger hunt through the series! LOL These are real books written by a ghost writer and you can buy them on amazon etc. I actually own Heat Wave. XD His writer poker buddies that sometimes guest star on Castle (like James Patterson) are also real life mystery writers.

TVD 2x12 Elena picks up a copy of Gone with the Wind in Damon's room while tending to a sick Rose.
TVD 1x04 Damon reads one of the later Twilight books and complains that Edward is so whipped and sparkles in the sun instead of burning up while Caroline chooses dresses. Caroline tells him he has to read the previous books first to get it.
ETA: TVD 4x10 Tyler arrives in the library and is standing next to The Final Days, a non-fiction book about the end of Nixon's presidency. LOL

And "the recent episode of Castle" with that cap is 6x04.

I can probably cap the AoS 1x02 scene for you if you want. I am no good at GIFs though.

omg thank you. The fandom hate for Alexis was driving me crazy. I really liked this weeks episode and it was nice to get more pov on who Alexis is now as a young adult (in terms of her values especially when it comes to justice).

If I never see another "ungrateful brat" or "spoiled bitch" or "know her place", it'll be too soon. HOW DARE SHE HAVE HER OWN POV, OMG. It takes TWO to let a relationship weaken because he's been (understandably!) in the honeymoon period with Beckett while (also understandably!) she's moved out and become more independent.

Tumblr is great for GIFs, but sometimes the crap in the tags is just o.O

Yeah, I agree. But, the hate was there even before the relationship weakened. You can't will Alexis away. She is a big part of Castle's life. I feel like their story is very organic and it makes sense. I'm very selective about who I follow on tumblr. The tags can be horrible.
