Spent the weekend at my sister's and had a very nice (if fattening--she cooks for an army even if only one person is coming) shabbos.

Then last night we sat down two a rather interesting double-header: An Inconvenient Truth and Assume the Position with Mr. Wuhl.

I don't know if you can rent the latter, but if so, it's worth a look-see (though a warning, that the history being debunked is of the U.S. variety). If not, I'm going to try and tape a copy for my own personal collection and can lend it out.

The only off-note in the whole thing was a section entitled "As American as Apple Pie." The behaviors being satirized were undoubtedly American, but I kept waiting for Wuhl to riff on the fact that Apple Pie ain't. Was disappointed that he didn't.
