I've never seen the movie (I'm most familiar with the Batman: TAS version of him), but this app is good and gives a pretty clear picture of the character and his role in the story. I like the symbolism in the dream, too.

The only thing bugging me is I'm not seeing where he gets the name Rachel from- it's not suggested at all in his dream. But then again this is a minor quibble and I don't think it's worth a re-write over.

Leaning toward a yes if we can get canon verification.

It's been a couple years since I've seen the movie, but everything fits what I remember, so I'll verify it as accurate. Not sold on the name either, but there's no real reason to object to it, so I vote yes.
