Seeing as this was their third class, Rebecca Honey figured she was getting this stuff down perfectly. It was a fine art, this whole apparation thing. She may or may not have splinched herself a few times in the beginning, but now that this was nearing the end of their training, she was becoming the pro that she knew she could be. Oh, and yeah. She was totally humble about it too. Ha.

In fact, she was beginning to enjoy herself a lot! She couldn't wait till she could go home and do this sort of thing. Even though she prided herself in not wanting to abuse apparation, as that was such a lazy route to take, she did think it would come in handy. And okay, maybe she was lazy on occasion just like the next person, but she wasn't going to go admitting that. She had a reputation to with hold, and Derek would just make fun of her way too much.

Anyway, at the moment she was standing around waiting for the class to begin, swinging her arms at her side and whistling softly. Fuuuuun times.

Derek, for the record, was absolutely going to abuse apparating. At least for the first while. Didn't everyone? It was sort of your job, right after you got the license, to make a pain of yourself and apparate everywhere, even if that was only downstairs or out the door. Practice making perfect and all of that. (Which didn't mean he wasn't going to give other people crap for it of course.) Plus, he imagined it would be fun.

The sensation of popping from one place to another was still a bit weird. In all seriousness, Derek figured the more you did it the less strange it was bound to be right? Couldn't let something like that turn you off from the quickest mode of transport.

"Bored already?" he observed, stepping in next to Becca with a smirk. He probably should have had some better kind of entrance to make but it was Sunday. What did a person expect? "It seems wrong to be bored today," Derek added, turning thoughtful, "Like it's somehow important." Now if only he could remember why.

Becca rolled her eyes as Derek came over to talk to her, stopping herself from smirking. They seemed to always have some sort of conversation during these lessons... usually having to do with some sort of competition. Or not so much competition, as betting on who would mess up first. She wondered who it would be today... she was fairly confident that she could get through the whole class without splinching. But then again, perhaps she was being too full of herself.

"I don't really know what you're on about, Bly," She confessed as she made a weird face at him. He was making no sense! It seems wrong to be bored?? Since when was it ever wrong to be bored?? He was clearly crazy, and she was more than alright with letting him know, "You're barmy."

If Becca was confused then Derek looked more so because he was certain there was something he was forgetting. "No, seriously." He frowned in concentration and tried to remember what it was. "What day is it?" Never a good sign when you started forgetting things like that. Now if this nagging feeling would just solidify and fill him in, that would be great. For some reason he felt like there was something with Darin and Taylor...like he should have heard from them or be planning something.

Well it is Easter Hols.

Hmm. That was a fair point- and one he'd have to plot with- but that wasn't it...
