Danny was sitting at a table, surrounded by books, working alone. He wasn't feeling very social today and it just seemed like everything sucked at the moment, so he took solace in books. As usual.
Sucking his lower lip in, he nibbled it while turning a page. Nothing wrong with muggle astrophysics, right?

Amaury only meant to get a book he needed and then go to lunch, but when he saw Danny surrounded by book, he thought the older boy looked a little lonely.
"Hello," he said quietly. Lightly, he placed the hand in the top of the chair across from Danny. "Is this seat taken?"

"Hm?" Danny's eyes snapped up, and he smiled a genuine and warm smile when he saw that it was Amaury. He hadn't spoken with the Gryffindor in a long time and he missed their chatting -- Amaury seemed like a person who didn't judge you. Danny had always found comfort in that.

With schoolwork piling up, and Remy keen to have his workload cut down so that he could enjoy his upcoming birthday, the usually anti-studious Gryffindor had forced himself to the library so at least some homework could be done. With a brand new windsurfing magazine tucked inside his book, though, and quill more in his mouth than on the page it was obvious that all of Remys good intentions had gone well out the window.
Not paying the slightest bit of attention to anyone, the Gryffindor slowly turned a page of his magazine and started analysing the meet results that were posted in, scanning it for friends names. His Transfiguration text, sadly, sat abandoned. Typical.

Danny wandered into the library to study, and noticed immediately his errant boyfriend, who oh-so-clearly was reading something ELSE inside his book. Smirking, Danny hefted his bag and headed over. He crept up behind Remy just as the Gryffindor turned another page... And reached around, plucking the magazine from his grasp.
"This doesn't look like Hogwarts material, young man," he said in his best authoritative voice.

"Oi!" Remy was fully prepared to come face to face with an irate teacher as he turned quickly in his chair, but as he realised it was Danny standing there, and not an authorative professor, his look of indignation was quickly replaced by a wide grin, pleased as always to see his boyfriend. His hand came up, and lightly tugged at the magazine, not really dispelling the effort to wrestle it back from Danny. Really, he would have much rather that any tugging brought Danny close enough to kiss, rather than claim personal possessions.
"Oi." He repeated again, but the word was much softer and much more humourous this time; hard to dispell, a Gryffindor smile. "That's mine, that is."

"Why can't you ever study?" Danny asked, obviously amused. He pulled the magazine back, tucking it into his bag. "Just read it later, love." Reaching for a chair, Danny slid into it, setting his bag on the floor and tilting his head to look at his errant boyfriend.

"No, please --" he motioned "-- sit down."

There was a definite change in Amaury's face. It was more relaxed and a lot happier, and there was a gentle smile on his face.
