You would think that, with all the spare time the second years had on Wednesdays, Cassie would be doing something productive. Studying. Something.

But no. Her cat had escaped the common room again, and rather than wait for her to come back, Cassie was searching. Besides, she figured there would be plenty of time to study later.

But wasn't the library just the perfect spot for a Ravenclaw? Dylan had just been to the library and was now heading in the direction of the common room. She'd gotten a bit sick of the quiet, despite the fact that for the most part she enjoyed the library quite a bit. "Hey Jamie," she greeted, spotting him on her way, because funny thing... when headed to where the other person began? You totally crossed paths.

What gets wetter the more it dries? Dylan chewed on her bottom lip for a few moments as she thought about the question. That wasn't really something that was possible... oh. "A towel, maybe? It gets wetter as it dries. Only, instead of the towel drying itself, it's drying you off?" She shrugged her shoulders, not too sure about the randomness of the question, but not really caring either.

Danny was fiddling with the wheels on his skateboard, sat in the hallway. He'd been skating inside and it started to feel rickety, so he figured a little repair work might be needed. As it was, he should be skating inside anyway, but he sort of couldn't help it. It was too cold out! And it was smooth inside! Who WOULDN'T skate in here?

Jesse almost tripped over Danny, concerned as he was with some scribblings in the margin of a very old, worn book. He couldn't tell if it said beetle or bezoar, and of course, the two were very different. Luckily, he caught himself just in time to stop from crashing down on the skinny boy, who he certainly would have crushed with all his pudginess (and yes, Jesse was having image problems.)

"Oh sh--" Danny caught the bearings before they scattered and then looked up to see who'd bumped into him. "Oh, hi Jesse. Sorry, I'm trying to fix a wheel on this thing, and it's hard to see in here --" of course he WAS sitting in a hallway, so, y'know.

"How are you?"

Jesse fumbles a bit pulling his bag back onto his shoulder before it too fell to the ground. He decided it was best to put his book away now too, so as to avoid any further tripping incidents.

"Oh, Danny, hey." Jesse hadn't seen Danny in, well, ages. But then, they weren't exactly friends. They just didn't hate each other, which was a good thing. "Crap, I'm sorry, did I screw anything up? Did you drop anything?"
