Guest Cat is here temporarily, shut up in my study. She and Jack are remote-sensing each other from opposite sides of a closed door. Both of them are making sad noises.
ETA: Not related to anything at all, but I just saw this Venn diagram of the Seven Dwarfs and thought you'd find it amusing. Now next time I'm sick, I've got a picture. :)
And poor, sad guest cat. Can they visit or do they get growly?
We thought that it was best that they not meet: I didn't want any misplaced territoriality (it's Jack's home now, but Guest Cat knows it better and has spent much more time here.) And in fact Jack did slip past me and into the study when I was coming out with my netbook, and I heard somebody let out an almighty hiss. So no socializing for now.
Guest Cat should be going home tonight. She'll have her own human and lots of attention once she gets home. (I have petted her and paid her attention while she was here, but it must be lonely in the study.)
