I was always a big Takeru/Hikari fan...although I was so pissed at the end of season 2 when they didn't wind up together...

I think season 2's ending caused RAEEEGGGG in just about everyone except weirdo Yamato/Sora fans. Where did they get that from? They pulled it out of their asses, that's where.
