The blue shirt was the worst. Especially if Merlin wasn’t wearing the red kerchief. It made his eyes show bright and blue, and the open collar revealed far too much neck and collarbone. Not to mention the tease of the slight glimpse of chest hair. Merlin didn’t look like a peasant really. And Arthur rather suspected noble, if illegitimate lineage. There was no way a peasant had such gorgeous cheekbones, such bright eyes ( ... )

This was beautiful. I loved your descriptions of all the colours and the scents, they really created the atmosphere.

I found my self scrolling down to the end of the page looking for more... I LOVE the way that you mentioned the "ever present faint scent that he swore reminded him of lightning." that I believe is magic? tehee!! I love how Arthur knows him so well, and I love the relationship that Merlin has with everyone in Camelot. I love the stories where the cooks and everyone favor him ^_^ please write more... I'm begging you
