Wow. Very nice. I like the idea, quotes that prompt the stories. Will you do more?

Yes, it's a fairly straight-forward idea but actually inspired me more than most things have done recently. I had 11 quotes picked out so there's a definite possibility that I'll pen some more.

Hopefully I'll be able to do something a little longer but if not, definitely not likely to run out of quotes any time soon. ;-)

I like them too, and writing from quotations must be great inspiration. But I have to admit--the last one intrigued me most, because I couldn't read between the lines. I have no idea what happened, and I'm sure it's my own fault. Help a girl out?

No, it's all me. It's my favourite and usually that means that it makes perfect sense in my head... and then other people see it and I realise it ONLY made sense in my head.

The last paragraph should clarify she sent a text which read 'I couldn't.' The interpretation is fluid. Are Miranda and the kids holding her back from fully pursuing her career? Is Andy actually having an affair? Whatever it is, the things she used to want now only trap her and stand in the way of her happiness. :-)

Thanks for the explanation. I definitely picked up on the melancholy element, and the uncertainty of Andy's text at the end. I thought perhaps an affair was there, but then I just confused myself overthinking, so I totally appreciate it.

It's a killer. ;-)
