I have no energy left. I just spent 65 minutes teaching my students about freedom of religion, the rights of criminals and the civil rights movement (with focus on desegregating schools and the 14th amendment). For my birthday, my students decided to work together to give me a headache. So considerate of them really. Ironically, my fourth period also gave me a card, wishing me well (to their credit, a number of students mentioned me "deserving" a special day, rest, etc), in addition to a fight and an incident of theft.
