Someone says I don't update my journal enough.  I think, if someone wants to talk to me, he should just open his mouth and talk.

This way I can talk to pretty girls with my mouth full of cookies. Besides how else am I supposed to have homework avoidance theatre?

You? Avoiding homework? That doesn't sound right. Are you sure someone hasn't replaced you with...an evil Ed?

Oi, what I avoid is writing papers that don't have to do with high level calculations! If I have calculations in applied mechanics or Dynamical Systems Analysis equations, or even chemical conversion computations to do I'm a happy Ed. Give me a three page paper to write on some eye twitching tripe like 'The Three Day Blow'. Ugh... that makes me into an Evil Ed. yes. Let me read some Jules Verne instead... either that or Homework Avoidance Theatre. don't you have anything you would rather put off?

Well...my World History class makes me want to throw things. Especially with that idiot - not naming names but NO, not Goku, in case he's listening in - with his stupid comments. And what's worse, if this is recent history, shouldn't I know more of it?

I'm going to start a new thread ok? That other one was too narrow. About that history thing. I agree with you. I think it's important, but I just think people's perspectives on it are different. Maybe your teacher didn't think it was as important as say... local history. I don't know. It's hard to say.

Yeah...you could be right. All I really remember about my teacher was her throwing chalk and yelling at me for falling asleep. So really, it might be my fault for all of it.

She threw chalk? Sounds to me like a rotten teacher. I think I'm going to make a point of not throwing chalk at my students. I'll throw erasers instead. Leaves such an interesting and difficult to remove mark!

I don't know if she was rotten so much as boring? Or maybe I just didn't like school.

I'm not sure Winry. I know I was raised in the country, you know? I haven't thought about it in a long time, actually.

I guess I ought to explain that I was in a pretty bad accident a few years back. So I don't always remember things from before then very well. I'll ask my brother when I can. Unfortunately, right now I can't remember the name of the town or where it was... just little flashes. He might know though.

But yah, I remember you. So I'd bet it was Dudley. Were there sheep there?

There are sheep. Lots of them. My dog used to watch the shepherd dogs and make this grumbling sound. She was so funny.

You seem like a country boy. I don't mean that as an insult - I know a lot of people would take it that way but really, you seem like someone who's had to work hard for the things you want. Maybe too hard, sometimes.

Oh, yeah, that would explain it, the accident, I mean. I'm sorry. Brother? Does he attend school here, too?

I think I remember your dog too...big black dog wasn't it? Seemed like an anomaly with all the herd dogs around... yah I remember that a little. I think you're right about me being a country boy.. at least at heart. I like living in the city, but it's quiet in the country. You can see the stars and I like that. Al and I both definitely believe in working hard for what we need. Nothing wrong with that. Doesn't mean we're dumb hicks obviously. Al's still in London. I haven't talked to him for a while. I miss him. He's all the family I have left now.

Yes, she was black with white markings. Her name was Den. I think...she was very old. It seemed like she'd live forever.

Al...you know, Ed, he isn't your only family. I'm not sure why I think that but....

Well. I do that... apparently... roll my eyes, slouch, grumble, you know. We mustn't forget a flaming abuse of every blue word in any language I know given adequate (um... sometimes very slight) provocation. See above where you suggest that "he should just open his mouth and talk"? Sometimes you might wish "he" would just shut it. {smirk}

So far, I haven't heard any reason for you to 'just shut it'. But if you want, I'll let you know when I do.

Hmm... I think my filters work better in this medium. I don't tend to swear in my handwritten journals either, unless I'm really pissed. But sometimes my mouth seems to ignore any attempt I make to censor it. Seems like it's not as bad when I'm talking to girls. Kind of weird.

And so, I immediately prove that my fingers are perfectly capable of emitting bad language, even to a girl... Sorry?
