what day are you moving in?
i feel kind of bad because, like laura, i'm going to be in MI for the first week of august, and it sucks being in a new city with no one. although, if you're like laura and i, you're incredibly poor and can't afford to do anything or go anywhere until you get paid. if that is the case, i recommend watching CSI, because holy shit is it brainless and it passes the time.
let us know when you get in; if you need help moving or finding a grocery store.

and dont worry too much. i have friends moving there the 4th, and a few kind of friends that have already moved there, and one friend who is a local... so i won't be alone.

but for sure, before you leave for the UP, i will hit both of you up!

and yes, i have only survival money. and no credit card. ugh...
