yay for backpacking! ice age trail in wisconsin is beautiful, and has handy little shelters every 10 miles or so. i've only done a couple of maybe 50 mile pieces of it, but... someday, someday.

If you finish in Georgia by December, the weather here is still rather warm. I've worn shorts in December before and been comfortable.
