I've always wanted to see Marcus live. Was going to go when he was in Bristol last summer, but it'd sold out when I tried to get tickets...

I don't have a television and so I've grown up with disembodied voices on the radio. It never occurs to me to go and see what the owners of the voices actually look like!
Hence I read your comment and went "oh yeah...the internet has pictures too! *facepalm*"

There's probably less reasons to think of it without a television, you're far less likely to get really surprised by peoples appearance. I think I only thought to look people up after I'd seen Jeremy Hardy and Ross Nobel on Have I Got News For You and was really thrown by their look...
