Pointless Yet Pleasant Post. TGIF, anyone?

1. Latin test I have complained about so much (and learnt so little for) is written. It was not as bad as I was afraid. I think I have passed, but am not sure. All in all, I am ridculously happy to have it done, regardless of the results ( Read more... )

I am tragically behind with all that TV stuff, I don't watch DH, nor that unbelievably popular Lost. And I'm not going to see the masters gala tonight, but I'm more a Depeche Mode fan than a Plushy fan.

Don't forget to observe if you weep while watching Brokeback Mountain. Out of two of my friends who have seen it, two cried. :)

Tragically? Nah, I am just having much fun with watching the DH. I never saw any episode of Lost ;) Because they were overlapping.

I will report my response to Brokeback Mountain :)

TGIF?
Bah.
I work Saturdays.

Dun be hard on your friends, petite. Maybe you wouldn't have been aware of BM either had it not been for fandom wetting itself over gay cowboys getting it on.... I know it's that way for me, at least ^_^

I would be aware. Because I watch what's on in the cinemas, what's being published... And there is a lot of fuss about Brokeback Mountain because of the nearing Oscars Awards.

Yeah, I know I am being an intellectual snob. It's just part of my rant "I went to a University to be surrounded by people who read books and watch ambitious films rather than football". I mean, we have a course about pop culture. We can take a seminar in Gay Theatre or Feminism or whatever we want! We're supposed to participate in cultural events other than new Harry Potter movie!

I just wish there were some people. Not everyone. But... some.

Oh, and I would be aware as there are advertisements in the radio all the time :D And I love Ang Lee ever since I saw "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Thank God, no classes on Saturdays. I need to sleep my week off ;)

Hooray for Brokeback Mountain! It's a well-done film, directorially speaking, and the acting is fantastic.

Plus, there are LOTS of sheep, and I like fluffy things.

Lots of sheep? And no one told me about that?! I mean, sheep! Do not think Blackadder!

I was going to go today, but Plushenko won :D

I'm sorry you had to wait till now to have this revealed to you. We have all been irresponsible in our withholding of sheep information!

I literally squealed with delight when all the sheep appeared on screen. I was like, "ZOMG SHEEP YAY!" and the rest of the theatre patrons were like, "SSSSHHH!"

There is not -- nor has there ever been -- any evidence that Edmund slept with a sheep ...

I didn't keep up with the figure skating (I'm more of a hockey person), so hooray for Plushenko!

Apparently the majority of Poles are hockey people, because right now I am watching the screen where Plushenko ought to be and I see men in costumes that are not half that sexy...

Masters gala! I need to see him!

I do hope they will show him, otherwise I might have to take drastic steps.

There definitely has been and they are hiding it from us!

Are you telling me I missed the masters gala today? *sobs* Here I was, busy catching up on last week's LJ posts, missing an opportunity to fangirl Plushenko? Did he do the "Sex Bomb" program? I hope they're doing a rerun some time tomorrow :(

Okay, that does it. I'm emigrating for real this time. The 2nd season of "Desperate Housewives" won't start here until September! And the 1st ended in, like, October. You don't happen to have a spare room for me? Or at least a spare corner on the couch in front of the TV?

And while I'm there, waiting for my new passport to arrive, we can go and see "Brokeback Mountain" together. It won't start in German cinemas for another two weeks. Will you post a review soon? *makes pleading puppy eyes*

Sure! My room is not big but large enough, I think, and the couch could definitely use more using ;-)

Until September?! Have they no mercy?! It starts this Thursday and with two episodes. Lots of Bree, I foresee...

I'll post my opinion on 'Brokeback' for certain - a friend demands to know if I will have wept ;-)

And... Plushenko was teh hawt seXXors and did lots of nice figures and performed with a fiddler again :D

Sounds great. I promise I don't occupy much of your precious couch space *is master of auto-origami*. And I could do your ironing. I actually like ironing as long as I can do it in front of the TV.

Plushenko was teh hawt seXXors and did lots of nice figures and performed with a fiddler again *wails* And there was a rerun of the gala but I missed it AGAIN because we were watching DVD!

*I never iron anything, am too lazy, buy things that do not require ironing...*

You're welcome to my TV set :D

I am used to living with two sisters in a smaller room, and sharing a bed with a Miss-Kickboxer ;) Nothing could scare me :)

Looking forward to the reviews.

How can people do that? I was at a party a few months ago and a room full of people laughed at me because I iron my clothes and even bed-linen. I managed to cut it down to ironing most items only on one side since then, but still...*is a Bree at heart*

*Iz scared*

I am a very laid back person when it comes to cleaning. In other words, I wait until there is enough of it to warrant my attention ;)

I'm not obsessive about cleaning either. It's just the ironing thing. With everything else, I usually wait until someone comes over for a visit and I'm too ashamed to let them in while the flat looks filthy. Works every time :)

It does, doesn't it?

Hmm, ironing fetish.. wonder what Freud would say ;)
