Yo's-- help!!

Once upon a time ago, I made a scarf with yo's (yarn overs for those newbies who don't have all they acronyms down :>). Unfortunately, my handy-dandy pocket guide that clearly illustrated yo's is lost. I thought I knew how to do them, so I wasn't sweating it. I can see why you love it-- that was fabulous!
And I AM doing the yarn over correctly, which means now I've gotta find someone who has knit this hat before to figure out how to deal with the one stitch per row decrease. Sigh.

Yarn-over - wrap the yarn over the needle from back to front, leaving it in position to knit. There is no need to knit a stitch afterwards.

But, if I've just knit together my last two stitches, I can't do a yo, can I? Because it wouldn't be a proper stitch to knit when I move my right needle to the left... right???

Yes, you can. The stitch to knit into is the yo - it works as well on the end of a needle as it does between stitches.
