good stuff. i am pretty damn impressed. "the world" was a bit flimsy - revolving around an obvious symbol and a forced one at that; the rest was awkwardly attached to it, and seemed a bit too skittish, muddled.

Denis Lavant is one of my favorite charasmatic trolls.

I found your journal through the comments on panarchist's entry about Brian Evenson. He follows me around, too, or used to.

I'm adding your journal to my list, though possibly you won't add mine when you see that it contains an inarticulate dismissal of "Still Life" as merely "not as good as The World."

thank you for reading (and for the comment!). i frankly find too much joy in pummeling things, so do not read too much into it.

my latest lavant was harmony korine's "mister lonely"; and unfortunately his nazi-flavored chaplin character was rather petty. interestingly enough, leos carax was acting as well, so memories of lavant in "boy meets girl" were flooding in.
