I'm right there with you, girl. All the way!

Kripke promised us a 'bitch of a cliffhanger', so your last sentence could go either way. I'm cheering for Sam to stay himself, but to do something supernatural to save Dean. Sam MUST remain Sam, tho.

The scene with Dean crawling trying to get away from the Hell Hounds barking behind him is gut wrenching.

It's a long time until Thursday. *Paces the floor*

Yeah, I really don't want to wish away time, but man oh man do I want to see that ep.

But I fear after I've seen it, I'll wish I hadn't because then it'll be forever before we see what happens next.

Well, I was talking to antigonesgift about this a couple days ago, actually. I think ultimately, they won't be able to save Dean, but I also don't think they would EVER reveal THAT much in a promo, not even for a season finale episode. I think what we saw in the promo WILL turn out to be a nightmare sequence that Dean is having, just to open the episode, you know? And that the reality of it will be that much more brutal.

Kripke himself has said that the end of this episode is going to end on a HUGE cliffhanger, and he thinks a lot of people are going be yelling at their TV sets LOL. So I personally think that Dean WILL die, and the end of the episode is going to be Sam faced with a choice - let's say for arguments' sake, to either be "good" and Dean stays dead, or turn evil and bring Dean back - possibly given to him by Lilith, and BAM! The episode ends before he makes his choice.

Yeah...I just can't figure out the whole Lilith angle in this. We know she wants Sam dead--so I don't think she wants his allegiance like Yellow Eyes did. But, seeing that she seems to be SO afraid of Sam, maybe we're gonna see why?

*cowers in fear of what Sam could turn into*

I didn't think they'd show us all that if it was real in a promo either. But, they did show us Sam dying in the AHBL part one promo. Of course, though, that wasn't the final episode. On the other hand, maybe the real secret Kripke's keeping so close isn't Dean dying but what Sam does?

Well, it's actually pretty funny. I started out vehemently not wanting Dean to die and now I vehemently do want him to die. So I hope those clips do actually happen. I just can't ever get enough of angst and hurt...I'm just weird that way.

But, anyway, I did the same thing last year. I started out really opposed to Dean selling his soul, but after a while, I really got on board with the idea. I've really enjoyed the episodes where we've seen how that has really impacted Dean and Sam.

Of course, last year I was so spoiled--I knew every single thing that happened in AHBL part one and I knew Dean would make the deal. It really made the first part boring and the deal had less impact. This year, I have suspicions but no real idea. I hope that's a good thing ;).

I've always thought that Dean had to go to hell and therefore die. It will be painful, pure agony to watch him suffer and to witness Sam's emotional turmoil because of it. But I really think it'll bring the main plot to another level. And the brothers will have a new experience to process. I guess Sam will have to face life without his hero-bro for another epi in the new season too. While Dean will have to suffer -which he always does so perfectly well! - in hell and confront his inner demons as well as the real ones. It'll be a cathartic experience for them and help them to go on in the war against even worse evil ( ... )

Hi Roweena--again! Sorry I didn't get to this last night, but we had tornadoes in the area and I was gone most of the evening/night taking shelter and then we were out of electricity until 3AM. *rolls eyes ( ... )
