Sorry we're in the bad-time-of-year. I know exactly how you feel. For me, I think it has a lot to do with my vision being such that I can't drive at night, so I'm either stuck at home or relying on someone else for transportation. My desk, here, is next to a window, tho, so I get to see the sunrise every day (ifthereisone).
Really glad to hear you're working on your WIP!!! Looking forward to reading some more of that!
I never really go out much regardless of time of year, but January and February are months I feel my most anti-social. I just want to hide away at home and sleep a lot.
It's really hard getting up and going to work and being around people all day during those months. It saps my energy just thinking about it.
Yeah, I've been working on it slowly. Problem is, I make changes every time I go through it and end up having to read again to make sure the changes are okay. I'm pretty sick of it by now, lol. I hope it turns out okay in the end.
Hey! You sound just like me! Same style haircut and I do color my hair (same colors as listed) to cover my gray hair! Also chubby face. Glad you are here and glad to hear from you.
Winter is hard for me. Of course here in Texas it is winter a couple of days, maybe spring and then almost summer and the back to winter and all this on one week.
I don't live in Texas, but our winters have been like that a lot lately. This week it might be below freezing and the next day like spring. It's ridiculous and I don't like it. I like my winters to be cold. I like woolly socks and hot tea, etc. I think I need to move further north since SW MO has decided not to do snow any more. :(
Holidays do leave us all a bit 'meh' don't they? Going back to work after a break that usually isn't a break (but more a whirlwind) is always an exhausting prospect!
Hope to see you again soon! And do share the haircut! I'm sure you are quite adorable, lovie!
YAY for dreams that can become fiction!! Love those the best, really...
My problem is, I really do enjoy Christmas, but I never feel like I get to slow down and savor it. Then, its over and there's nothing to look forward to but January and February--which are the hardest months. I just want to hide at home and hibernate...but since I have to go to work, I feel miserable until I snap out of it around mid-March.
I wish I had a machine that could take the dreams I have and convert them to text, lol! That would be awesome!
