NaNoWriMo Word Count/Other Thoughts

Nov 05, 2011 02:41

As I told all my FB peeps yesterday, I'm going to start posting my daily word count here instead of there as a status message. I had intended to anyway, but just didn't get around to it. Okay, so my goal is to write about 2,500 words a day, five days a week. That gives me a two day cushion every week just in case I have days that I don't have time ( Read more... )

I really enjoyed "the old school" episode but I worry about what the message from Ellen meant. And when Dean said something like "I guess I just hate lying to you." that didn't sound like a past tense to me. And how slow he was to rise when being knocked around by the spirit. And the way Dean looked at the girl when she was going to read his palm and his reaction to her comment. And by the fact that in ealier episode they have made references to Dean taking pills. I'm not too sure I like where this is going but I liked the episode and Dean being Dean.

So glad you liked the ep last night. I LOVED it! Dean telling Sam what was what was very impressive. And Sam listened!!!! :D

I think there's way more to it than what we saw last night. I'd like to see Ellen come to Dean in a dream or whatever and "kick his ass". That would be fun. She could do that and then mother him to make it all better. :)

*is a happy camper*

Hey you, I apologize for not answering this comment. I never managed to answer anyone's comment on this post for some reason. I know you all would appreciate it if I could keep my act together, but if it helps, no one probably gets more frustrated at me than me. :(

Thanks for commenting all those months ago.

I think there's a lot more to Ellen's message. Apparently she's noticed Dean's drinking and not-sleeping - he's been running on empty for a long time now. Couldn't even get it together enough to enjoy a little fun with Mia the bartender a couple episodes back. I think what Ellen is saying is, "You're getting closer and closer to the edge of that cliff, and you need to confide in someone and let them help you."

That's a really great progression for the Dean situation - and it makes me hope that by the end of the season, we see him making some meaningful steps toward recovery, so that in S8 he can get back to being the kickass, fun-loving hunter he really wants to be.

Apparently, I somehow missed this message. I apologize wholeheartedly! Did we ever get a clear idea on what Ellen meant? I think you're probably right in your comments, though. All I really remember from this episode was Dean finally standing up for himself a little bit.

Hope all is well for you!

I am so proud of you!! And yes, tis quite freeing, writing without anyone expecting to see it. Gets the Muse fired up! I still expect to see it, but I won't pester you for it - and I think it is great that you can't define WHAT it is, but that you are pretty happy with it (character names aside).

THIS EP WAS REFRESHING. Gosh, I miss these kinds of episodes. This was a great shoutout all around - and the name-dropping was enough to make me smile! Fantastic episode all around!

I apologize wholeheartedly for not getting a response back to you. I apparently skipped everyone in this post. It's no wonder no one takes time to comment since I suck so hard at timely responses. :( Thank for all the encouragement you have given me over the years and I really am sorry I failed so hard on keeping up with stuff.

Aww, sweetness...*pets* Tis all good. You have been busy and things have been crazy. I've not been the best with keeping up, so we'll call it a draw, yas?

Have heart, honey - and trust me, the pleasure has been all mine.

*HUGS YOU HARD*

I think a draw sounds great! Things are crazy. I thought as you got older your life was supposed to reach a kind of plateau, more calm place. Instead, it seems to get more complicated and fuller. It's a constant juggling act and test of will, lol!
