Hello, flisties! Hope you all are doing well. It seems like its been a long while since I've been here--but maybe that's just me, eh? The last two weeks have been long and miserable--physically, I felt awful and it took a toll on my mental state...hoping this week will be better. Well, anyway, I brought a video to share and some good news! I

Looks like you've been a busy, busy girl, too! See, I see you even when I'm all emo and hiding in my cave. I wish I felt like/had the time to read some Dean and Sam fic because I'd like to read yours. I see our buddy, Terry, has been busy, too--would like to read it as well. Do you ever wonder how you managed to do all that fic reading back in the early years?

I wish you did, too. I miss your thoughts. Like...a LOT. And that's not pandering for attention, either. Don't forget, you're the reason I was brave enough to do this in the first place. Having you read and comment is like...getting flowers for no reason. :)
Especially this story I'm finishing up now. It's going to be my last SPN multi-chapter fic for awhile (there will still be the occasional one-shot to keep my head in the game, but...).
I just don't have time or energy to keep that up and attempt to write an original story.
SO, if you DID have desire or energy, this story would be one I'd very much like your thoughts on. For sentimental reasons if nothing else.
Love you, my friend.

Oh, shoot, no, I understand. My degree is actually in art education--and, yes, you actually have homework in art. I totally understand that...one of my classes required we generate so many paintings on our own time. I sometimes miss college because I do like being a student, I like learning and I'm good at being a student...but I do NOT miss the stress and the homework. I often wish we would win the lottery and I could just audit a bunch of classes or something. Though, as weird as I am, I'd probably miss getting a grade. *rolls eyes at self*
Oh man, can't wait for cowboy Dean. What little I've seen, Jensen is just absolutely perfect in a toe-curling sort of way. :)

I'm glad you liked the last couple of epis. I LOVED the latest one so much! It's pretty much tied with my favorite of the season, Twi Hard.
Can't wait til you finish your fic as I wait til they are complete before I read them. I hate being left with out knowing what's going to happen, LOL.
Talk to ya soon!!

Well, I can't blame you for wanting to wait. You know, it's been a long road with this one. The first two, I whipped out fairly easily...but this one...this one has been an effort in suffering for your "art" lol!
See ya around! :) *hugs*

Always great to see you posting - though I'm sorry your week was crap... and I'm always happy to see a chapter! And there's never a judgment attached - we won't even speak of how delinquent I am in posting...
I share your frustration with the Campbell plotline - this epi just felt like a total re-boot to me... *sigh* I'm afraid noone wants to talk show with me because I am too negative about it, but honestly, it was the tight writing that I loved and I really feel we've lost that. It was what made the show a step above everything else on tv - at least for me... There have been some good moments though - and noone writes our boys like Ben Edlund (barring Kripke) - so his episodes are always a joy...

Butting in to say NOT TRUE! I can't wait to talk with you and reply to your comment because when I read it I was like, "I love that I can always count on her to say what I'm not saying."
I've just been busy. And tired. And busy. And I have to gear myself and dig in to the replies. So I can't wait to talk with you about it. Just sayin'.
Okay. Sorry. As you were.

But, I agree. I used to be very proud of the tight writing, the way things in canon stayed canon and how crafty the connections could be--now...it seems a lot more like every other show that plays fast and loose with everything. Not good. But, maybe that's coming to a swift end soon.
