I take it you've googled for the relevant web sites. Looks as though you can get the parts from an importer in bath, though the top google entry doesn't really give detailed plans or how tos

There are probably similar and possibly more sophisticated robots around which will do similar.

I was terribly disappointed: In the first fame, it's shown with a bottle of cleaning liquid. I was hoping it would clean stuff.
