I'd like to know what terrible medical school graduated a man who believes that a blastocyst can survive outside the womb.

Yeah, my jaw dropped on that one. I should look in the court transcripts . . . .

Edit: Okay, the doc for the state is Jerry M. Obritsch, who has this gem of a webpage.

Apparently he graduated from University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The judge in the federal case says that Obritsch "states that because newly-created embryos can survive in a test tube for 2-6 days as part of in vitro fertilization ('IVF'), viability occurs at the point of conception."

That's a ridiculous conclusion. I know you know that but it still shocks me that adults can be so dishonest about basic facts.
