Personal: Sunrise Armada and LibraryThing

It's a bold orange sunrise this morning over Lake Michigan. The clouds are spaced out and built up just enough to look like an armada of tall ships sailing across the sky. It was all striking enough to make me freeze as I walked past the windows to the kitchen to pour a drink. Finished up the Küng tonight and put it to bed, leaving me only the ( Read more... )

I cannot believe we only own two books in common. (Granted, my list is far from comprehensive, but it does include everything I've bought on Amazon since about 1999)

You've updated since then! What were the two? I was assuming (incorrectly) that one would be Identity Crisis, given the ink we've spilled on it....

Actually, no -- at first it was like, two Lewis books. And we do have more in common than they're showing -- we just have different editions.

I like the idea of Library Thing, and am signed up, but I just find it too clunky and ugly to want to use on a regular basis.

Oh, I notice they're trialling a beta widget for Livejournal - you could try that.

The beta widget - which is now pushing two years old, I note - is the only thing that I thought clunky and ugly about it all. :-) But thanks for thinking of me! I only really noticed it yesterday, myself!
