The grading is familiar territory; I am in the midst of midterm exams - a bit late; our midterm warnings were due Oct 10 (only goes to students in some kind of academic trouble)...

It is always good to have someone who shares your interests. Glad you connected with the fellow in Rome.

I am hoping that there is a unifying theme of my life, amidst the disparate body of day to day appearances. hee hee. And, as for illumination....one can only hope even more.

Root beer? Come on, after all of that grading....you deserve or rather should be in need of something with hops and barley.

Alas, I've never been able to enter into my Irishness to the point of developing any taste whatsoever for beers, ales, or stouts. It all tastes like old gutter washings to me.
