I'm just saying that if people are using their online media for non-criminal purposes, this usage should be allowed to continue. To draw the line anywhere else is repugnant to me - the whole "point" of the justice system should be rehabilitation and not retribution. Taking away access to something as fundamental to expression as a blog is, in my view, a human rights violation. Now if they're using the journal or the accounts for stalking/harassment, then sure, suspend their asses. But unless and until that can be proven, and I don't really know if a legal conviction is enough because some people plead no contest even if they're innocent, and given that false accusations of sexual misconduct are common, I think it's best to leave this alone

Yes, freedom of speech is one thing, but to frame it as normalizing doesn't sound so good.
