notes from night #8 (closing) + party!!

Apr 01, 2007 17:44

I never bring my laptop out on the bus, but today I’m making an exception. I’m sitting on Classic #970 now at the Village at Bayer’s Road (as the Route 80), and guess what? Yep, we had a breakdown! (This is twice in one week!) Gah, this is frustrating, especially because I was going home to eat, rest, and I’m tired and hungry, and, etc.. etc.. ( Read more... )

And people wonder why I don't get drunk.

The show was amazing. You did an incredible job (as per usual!) and people from the crowd were extremely impressed, especially considering that this was our hugest crowd yet! (140 people!)

Were you there when we signed those white boxers?

Oh, don't we know it. Just speaking for myself, I wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear from view (and waking up at Marek's became a constant reminder of the situation!). =) But others have no doubt had it worse. You did well to stay sober last night. I may even consider being sober (or mostly sober) for subsequent parties in this vein of parties where there are more consequences at stake than usual ( ... )

You didn't take off your shirt... that was Lenny. Haha.

I was pretty high last night for sure. But it was a good time, so I'm sure I sounded like my usual perky often-mistaken-for-drunk self.

I suggest drinking twice as much water as alcoholic beverage you consume at any given party... the liquid washes out the alcohol over the evening, so it takes longer for you to get drunk. And of course, you're not hungover the next day either.

Yeah, as far as the water goes, that's one reason why house parties rock in particular, but we had a tap there, didn't we? I guess I was just too spaced to think about getting water. That's a lot to ask someone in my state to have done! =)

Man, I was so happy when we went outside there for the ekoms, you have no idea. =) I'm glad you had a good time with that, too.

I've been learning an awful lot today for some stupid reason. It seems counterintuitive.
