ALERT - stolen car (reprise)

If anyone should see a blue 1995 Dodge Neon (with Nova Scotia licence plate AXB 567), would they be so kind as to notify the police? My friend's car was stolen, you see...

If this sounds familiar to you, it's because it is - Krista's car was previously stolen (and later recovered) less than two months ago. In her own words:

It sounds incredible, doesn't it?

Pardon my speculation, but I think there are two non-exclusive possibilities:

A.) It was stolen from her apartment complex last time, which is very close to the mall in question. It could be the same person who knows how to steal that kind of car.

B.) The Neon was a powerful car for its class. It could easily outstrip Civics, Corollas, etc.. Old Neons are popular thefts because they can be raced until they die, then abandoned. This happened to a different friend of mine.

It doesn't have an alarm that I know of, although one may be warranted now. And, no, I don't believe there's a garage. It wouldn't have helped here, because the car was stolen from a mall parking lot.
