TESTS

Guys, you'll totally still love me if I fail my first test ever, won't you? Even if it's a 40% math test? Right? It's a single test. I'm not even going to do math next year. If I fail I fail, and, as it's the day before, there's no way I can teach myself a term's worth of work in one night and study for history. Right?

(The only other thing I have ( Read more... )

*hug* We'll definitely still love you. I have faith in your abilities though! Here's hoping it'll go better than you're anticipating.

Math = superfluous crap past basics and simple percents.

Even more so when your substitute teacher tells you he can't help you revise a certain aspect of what you've been learning because he has not used it since university.

Frankly, hon, I might love you more. Go study for History, if you're actually awake and reading this.

What are you guys even studying in History?

Math is done, and I might have squeaked by. We'll see by next week.

History is WWI and the Russian Revolution. Interesting stuff, definitely, but also a lot to cram into my brain. Plus I'm never sure what's actually relevant for history tests, you know?

The world won't end if you don't, promise. Anyway, in ninth grade you told me you'd fail somthing just to prove that you could. And you've fulfilled expectations! We're so proud.

Neither am I, frankly. I remember totally panicking in eighth grade when, after a year of History, someone asked what was on the test, and Mrs. Lewis did her scary voice, and went, "Everything is on the test."

Yeah. That's totally why I was doing it. (I did say that, huh. Why did I have to fail something in grade eleven, though? Where everything suddenly matters?)

I know! It's ridiculous! There's so much crap. And we're going to have a freaking map question, which is ridiculous, because I know for a fact I still have trouble with the countries in Europe. (There's a lot of tiny ones, okay?) Or a map of the Western Front! It was in France...Oh my god, I'm doomed.

Pfft, what gave you the impression that I'm smart? I just follow the formulas...

*hugs back* (Just because you're a cuddlewhore.) Thanks for the support.
