Hey people. Happy New Year! I would tell you all about my 2010, but it's not particularly interesting even to me. Let's just say - two moves, too many fandoms, new people. Ta-da

Yeah, see, I sort of find myself in that vortex also? I think the dude is talented, I just wish he were less of an asshole. Also, that half-hour long film is kind of fascinatingly weird.
I didn't know you had tattoos! Learn something new...And yes, okay, definitely unobtrusive placing, though I have this thing wherein I'd want to see it, whatever it is. I've never really understood getting a tattoo in a place that I couldn't see. Anyway. I'm thinking probably text? Or something that represents the time I spent in Australia, but it's hard to get something that's obviously Australian without it being kind of tacky (like...the Southern Cross, a koala, a kangaroo, etc.)
Good choice! I'm still sort of annoyed that they split them up like that, but whatever.
OR: punctuation tattoos! Like ellipses and semi-colons and such, because that's something that represents writing - which is obviously important to me - without being, like, a book and pen.
I have a punctuation tattoo (&) and I never saw the point of getting a tattoo I couldn't see either! I got mine on my wrist, which could be bad for some careers, but as a ~future designer~ it's not unacceptable for me.
punctuation/typography related tattoos are my FAVOURITE, I support this idea fully!
That video is awesome! And it makes me wonder how many awesome movies (or, at least, apparently awesome movies) have I missed this year! Thanks for sharing that.
I'm rubbish at choosing music so I'll refrain from any suggestion.
As for the tattoo, I don't have one, even though I'd like one. The problem? I seem to be always changing, evolving, so it's hard to decide on something that will still be me in a year or two. If it's any help, the closer I've gotten to making a choice are the Japanese ideograms for writing (which is the one thing that always make me happy) or change.

Filmography 2010 kicked ass and I may or may not have downloaded a few of the songs used therein.
I'm looking forward to seeing The National in February. And maybe visiting my grandmother in Bulgaria in March/April.

I am very happy and glad that you liked it!
Ooh, both of those sound excellent! I keep meaning to get into The National more.

I'm looking forward to Lady Gaga's new CD coming out, to seeing the Decemberists in February, and to studying abroad in Berlin this summer.

All of that does sound excellent! What will you be studying abroad, exactly? If you don't mind me asking.

Ahaha, okay!
Yeah, I worry about the constantly evolving thing. Seems like it makes it difficult to pick something so permanent.
