So I saw Inception for the third time, and it was awesome. Pretend to be surprised for a few seconds. I refuse to believe that it's not canon that Eames and Arthur have history, by the way. REFUSE.

I think at this point I'm actually not going to be able to see it again until it comes out on DVD. D: Also, I love that you're actually tinhatting this pairing.

People warning for a slash on a slash comm is bad anywhere, but on a slash comm? Holy shit, it drives me insane. *smacks people* You could totally step in, you know. As a modly mod.

No, people "warning" for slash is ALWAYS a problem - homosexuality is not on par with rape, for example. Yes, let people know what your pairing is, but do not do that. Not my comm!

People are warning about slash, when posting to a slash comm? That does not compute, at all. And the beta thing, I just don't read a fic if it says that, unless I know the author.

People warning about slash generally bothers me, to be honest. So long as it's clear what the pairing is, why is that necessary?

And yes, that's exactly it - if I know the author and they're just posting a few hundred words to get it out there, no problem. If you're presenting something as a finished fic, though...it's a problem for me.

I also refuse to believe that Eames/Arthur past is not canon. Arthur KNOWS WHERE EAMES IS. Eames knows all about Arthur's personality and delights in unsettling him and pricking at his cool exterior. BUT HE IS ALL CONCERNED WHEN HE NEEDS TO LEAVE ARTHUR IN THE HOTEL LEVEL. And Arthur is all calm and loving and protective and "Go to sleep Mr Eames." AND I HAVEN'T EVEN MENTIONED THE CANON ENDEARMENTS! I mean, seriously. SERIOUSLY.

EVERY SINGLE MOMENT BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM IS FURTHER EVIDENCE, OBVIOUSLY.

(In my head, the story is that they used to be together but it ended badly, for one reason or another, and Inception is them meeting up after a long time and reconciling.)
