Thanks. that's the first thing on the internet that i read the whole way through in a long time.

I was getting worried because i noticed my planner only goes up to 3 Jan 2010 - and i was wondering if that meant the end of the world too. But NASA's comments remind me the same thing happened for earlier years. What they didn't mention is if the world actually ALREADY ended and we're just too busy shopping, being online or whatnot to notice it.
