[Vincenter knew Kim was there, but when she actually greets him there's a flash of something in his body language, a familiarity, an interest, something.

He lifts his head from the hungry plant and then inclines it slightly in a nod.]

Insomuch as could be expected.

[And he goes back to feeding the plant. He actually seems a little more comfortable than usual; his stance, his expression, something about him is a little less coiled up and twisted.]

[Vincent will find he's not the only one in the buffet. Auron's there too. Just to get out of his room. When he notices Vincent, he gets up and strolls over to him.]

I'm not surprised you have a plant with teeth.

[Vincent doesn't exactly smile, but his expression softens ever so slightly when he looks at Auron.]

It was a gift. For my birthday.

[He reaches up with his human hand--glove off--and gently brushes over one of the closed lobes on the aforementioned plant.]

I suppose...she thought it was appropriate.

*Marco usually eats at the buffet, despite 'working' at Sergei's. He heads towards the buffet itself, but pauses when he sees Vincent. And a plant. That he's feeding? What?

For my birthday.

It's engineered to require very little sunlight, so it needs more protiens to sustain itself.

[It's more like a pet than a plant, really, but technically it is a plant.]

Again, it was a gift. For my birthday. And it was...thoughtful.

It's been engineered against needing proper photosynthesis. That means it can live in my room. But it means the coloration is a bit...off. From the usual.
