I'm not used to keeping one of these things just to keep one. If that's what it's for. We keep logs, but mainly as a way of keeping records of battle statistics to be stored later in the Archives. It's not so much of a journal as it is a large communication system that clearly could have been worked out better.

I'm not sure what a Separatist is in the context we're speaking of. But the journal allows for communication between people. As I said, it clearly could have been worked out better.
