St. Patrick's Day Parade, 47th Street and 5th Avenue - NYC - Saturday, Afternoon

Teddy was bouncing on his toes to peer over the crowd at the parade. If anyone looked at him, they'd just think he did a really good job at the green body paint for the occasion. It was kinda fun to be in New York and like this and still not have anyone recognize him

Luke was totally rocking his Statue of Liberty crown, thank you very much. "Yes!" he replied, grinning. "The weird music is catchy!" he said, pointing at the bagpipers.

Teddy had to laugh now. "You like bag-pipe music? Now that's a dead give away that you're not from this planet."

"Compare to Verpine music, this is gorgeous," Luke replied. "That sounds like really loud static."

Teddy was tempted to ask about this music that was worse than the bag pipes, but decided to stay safe and avoid it. Okay, that was a lie, he just had to.

"Verpine?"

Peter? Was actually eating food he'd gotten from a street vendor. This was either a sign of him being a native, or of him being insane.

Actually, could've been both.

Luke, who couldn't look more like a tourist if someone had stapled a "please to pickpocket" sign on his back, waved and grinned.

Peter waved back. "Having fun?"

"There's so much green!" Luke said. "And drunk people!"

Apparently both good things in Luke's world, given the smile.

Naomi had never seen anything at all like a St. Patrick's parade and when she saw it she decided to watch.

Teddy waved cheerfully at Naomi. "Happy St. Patrick's Day!"

"Happy St. Patrick's Day," she said as she waved in response.

"How do you like New York?" Teddy asked, bouncing a little from the glee of being back in the city.

Oooh, parade! Oooh, people she knew that weren't being strangely chased by other things.

Strange how, city big like this, she could still manage to find everything....hum.

"Hiiii."

"Hey Turtle!"

Turtle waved back. "Hey, Teddy. Going all out, huh?"

"It's a parade!" Teddy replied, waving his arms out a little, and only a little due to all the people around. "I'd be a bad New Yorker if I didn't."

Tyler rocked back on his heels as he watched the parade. He was imagining what a little ex-lax mixed in with the candy being handed out and gobbled down would do, but he probably looked pretty happy.

Teddy might have been disturbed by the reason Tyler looked so happy, so it was good that he just thought it was due to the parade. "Happy St. Patrick's Day!"

"Same to you!" Tyler said. "You're looking all seasonal."

"Only time of the year where green skin is in!" Teddy said, grinning like an idiot.
