Please explain to me the difference between "...like for a paper, or a column, or whatever..." and "When I try to write other times..." because, quite frankly, you don't do much writing outside of those things. I would be so bold as to say that you don't write very much at all anymore, but I will say this: You have always had a style of writing that suites you quite well. It's quirky and at times, even a bit sarcastic, if you can believe that. Your personality has always come across in it and that's part of what I do, and have always, liked about it
